Charles’ life began in adversity. He grew up in a home marked by violence and instability, and later spent more than three decades in a relationship that was emotionally unhealthy. For many years, survival came before healing.

Terrina entered his life not as a rescuer, but as a partner — steady, compassionate, and grounded. She brought light, perspective, and a quiet strength that helped create space for real change, growth, and hope.
